Home Maintenance: Action bikes stocks a wide array of tools, spares and lubricants including an extensive selection of Tacx and Park Tool products. For any advice on maintaining your own bike please ask to speak to one of our mechanics.

Action bikes. can give your bike all the TLC it needs. We have a fully equipped workshop staffed by our qualified and fully trained mechanics,Richard, and Duncan. They are happy to work on any make and model of bike, and we are also a specialist service centre for Giant ,Kona ,Dawes ,Claud Butler ,Falcon ,Mongoose , GT ,BMX ETC.

We try and be as flexible as possible when servicing your bike. There is no need to pre-book; feel free to drop your bike off at any time. During busy periods we may need the bike for 1-2 days but let us know if the repair is urgent and we may be able to prioritise it. As soon as a repair is completed we call to let you know it is ready for collection. Most repairs are done sameday

If you just want a specific job done rather than a service that is fine as we can just charge for the time taken on that job.

Workshop Charges

Basic Service: £25 inc. VAT
  • General Safety Check
  • Checking and adjusting brakes
  • Checking and adjusting gears
  • Checking and inflating tyres
  • Lubricating cables and chain

The mechanic will also highlight any further work required that would fall outside the Basic Service when he checks the bike over with you. We will also advise you if any parts need replaced. Naturally, the price of any new parts fitted will be added on to the price of the Basic Service.
